What is a vigil?

a vigil is the beginning of someone's journey to death.

the journey to death can lead to a scary or troubling death or it can be celebrated and experienced in a peaceful way.

this is why it is important to preplan.

this is really for those that will linger for a bit before death.

some people want a vigil shared with family and others want it quiet and to die by themselves.

just because you are by yourself doesn't mean you can't have your room set up to celebrate who you are.

for those that want items to make them comfortable, flowers, candles, pictures, family, friends can be incorporated.

this could sound like a party.

for some that is what they want, others would like family to come one at a time and share with them their loved one's stories or music, maybe a reading.
